HOW TO REGISTER?
Registration for HC Lax is done through Howard County Recreation & Parks.
Use the Age Eligibility chart below to find your child's birth year and month and then use the link in the appropriate age group description at the bottom of the page to complete registration.
You may also register by calling 410-313-7275 between 8:30 AM-4:30 PM or by visiting Howard County Rec & Parks at 7120 Oakland Mills Rd. Columbia, MD 21046.

AGE GROUP EXCEPTIONS
Parents who wish to have their child play outside of their designated age group should register and then complete the Age Group Exception Request form by clicking the button below.
2025 HC LAX AGE ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES
GIRLS AGE GROUPS
GIRLS U5
This age group is focused on introducing players to the game and exploration of basic skills through game based play. Parent participation is highly encouraged.
GIRLS U7
This age group is focused on teaching the basic skills of lacrosse in a cooperative and instructional environment.
GIRLS U9
This age group is focused on teaching the basic skills of lacrosse in an instructional environment while starting to add in more advanced gameplay including player positions.
GIRLS U11
This age group is focused on developing a technically sound set of lacrosse skills and athletic movements necessary in lacrosse. Additional team concepts and a sense of competition are introduced.
GIRLS U14
This age group is focused on combining technical skills with tactical understanding of the game to develop as a well-rounded lacrosse player, while also improving physically and psychologically in a competitive setting.
BOYS AGE GROUPS
BOYS U5
This age group is focused on introducing players to the game and exploration of basic skills through game based play. Parent participation is highly encouraged.
BOYS U7
This age group is focused on teaching the basic skills of lacrosse in a cooperative and instructional environment.
BOYS U9
This age group is focused on teaching the basic skills of lacrosse in an instructional environment while starting to add in more advanced gameplay including player positions.

HC Lax Refund Policy:
A 25% administrative fee will be applied to refund requests made by Jan 14th.
Refund requests between Jan 15 and Mar 1 will be honored at 50%.
There are no refunds after Mar 1.
